Rainbow loom- Most people should remember these fun yet really hard finger bracelets from 2014. From a simple colored band bracelet these evolved to intricate designs suitable for only the most talented loom band connoisseur.
Kendamas- Some people might argue these toys are still popular, but I think we can agree they passed their prime a long time ago. These infuriatingly difficult toys were a stereotypical toy trend.
They became very popular very
fast, and people lost interest just as quickly. Even if you didn’t like them, you probably had one.
Even trends that seemed unstoppable a few months ago are on their way out. Slime and fidget spinners are slowly losing popularity. Considering how quickly we lose interest, who knows what will be super popular in a few months, even in a few weeks. Most trends today are just that, trends. Nothing can keep our attention for more than a few months.
