Summary
Smallfoot is about a young Yeti named Migo, who is trying to prove that another species called the Smallfoot species exists. It’s harder than it sounds though, because there is the Stone Keeper, who has stones that ‘protect’ the village. There are a bunch of rules, and things they have to believe in that are written on the stones. One fateful day, Migo discovers a Smallfoot (human) and tells the village. He was banished from the village for defying the stones. There were three other people from the village who also believed that the Smallfoot species exist, though. They took him to their leader, who just so happened to be the daughter of the Stone Keeper. She introduced herself as the leader the S.E.S.-- The Smallfoot Evidentiary Society. Soon after, they bring Migo beneath the clouds. According to the stones, below the clouds is nothingness, and you fall forever. As said in the film, there are only yaks ---all the way down.
And yet, when he descends, he lands in snow after only a very short period of time. This confuses him. Did he fall on the yaks? When he goes off to explore, he finds a little town,  and he sees a Smallfoot. The Smallfoot tries to shoot Migo, but soon afterwards, they develop a friendship. The Smallfoot is a TV show host named Percy who has a show about animals. His show is going down in ratings and he’s losing his money. He can’t go on to pay off anything without his show! When Percy sees Migo, he is determined to prove to everyone that Yetis exist. He’d get so many viewers and possibly be rich! Meanwhile, Migo and the rest of the S.E.S. are determined to prove that the Smallfoot species exist, to defy the stones, and to show the Stone Keeper that he isn’t protecting the village… he’s destroying it.

Our rating: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ★ (four stars)

We rated Smallfoot foot 4 stars because it was only a bit predictable, but it had a really meaningful lesson. The lesson is to always be curious even though people tell you not to be. Always ask questions! It included many things in the story that an audience loves, such as adventure, comedy, and meaning. We enjoyed this movie, and hopefully you do, too. Thank you for reading this movie review!
